Colorado Coroners Standards and Training Board (CCSTB)

The CCSTB establishes and maintains Coroner education, training, and certification standards in Colorado per the Colorado Revised State Statutes (CRS). The CCSTB is a separate entity not affiliated with the Colorado Coroners Association. Colorado coroners may visit the CCSTB website to download the Compliance Application required by CRS. Applications should be submitted directly to CCSTB.

While the Coroner Communication Committee (CCC) has no authority to discipline, reprimand, or remove any Coroner in Colorado, the committee is pleased to share credit and compliments with our members. The CCC can also try to answer questions from the public and address or explain any questions or concerns about the authority and or duties of Colorado’s Coroners. Electronic Death Registration (EDR)
